Samsung Gear Watch stuck on 'finishing pairing' Simple Fix (Try before you resetting your phone)

Показать описание
This might be a simple fix for your Samsung Gear watch if you have tried resetting your watch resetting your phone and clearing cache data and all of that but none of it worked. This could be the simplest fix you could try.

Do note that this does not require clearing any cache data or resetting the phone or uninstalling and re-installing any apps.

This worked for me and some people but it might not be the same problem for you in which case, it would not solve your problem pairing if you're having issues but it's worth a try to rule it out before you start with resetting your phone and watch, etc

Thank you. I'm going to try this. For a leader like Samsung, this is unacceptable.

I have to tell you I just watched your video. Well done I just opened my watch and was wondering why I couldn't pair it. You saved me a ton of time and money. I was ready to bring watch back to the store. Your video was clear to the point and you should make more you Rock.

I don't understand why Samsung does not alert you about turning off your WiFi. I was getting ready to return the watch. Very frustrating.
This actually fixes the issue 100%. Thank you!

Excellent. Tried this and it took two minutes to connect rather than the 18hours I had tried beforehand. Thank you.

After trying this for over an hour, it finally worked! I ended up restarting my phone and then unpairing it from Bluetooth and trying it again and it worked! Thank you so much for this video.

Excellent video. Thanks for posting this. Had recently upgraded my phone from a Samsung Galaxy S23 FE to a Pixel 9 Pro XL after which I just couldn't get my Galaxy Watch 4 to work with the new phone. After watching your video, I followed your advice and disengaged the Wi-Fi it began pairing. Thx again - NR

Thanks for this brotha! My watch was stuck like that for an hour. All I did was turn off wifi, and the pairing finished. Didn't need to un-pair, uninstall or restart anything.

Thank you for taking the time to save our sanity! Also a quick tip rebooting/restarting and reset are different. I know it seems obvious but I restarted the watch several times before it clicked.

THANK YOU! I've been having this problem with my watch and it's been going for about 2 weeks. I tried to reset both the watch and the phone (with backups), tried to wipe the dalvik cache, and even unrooting my phone, but nothing worked. I'm pretty surprised that this worked, but it worked! Thanks a lot for sharing what worked for you :)

@Fylosofy I have a Galaxy Watch3 and a Galaxy S20 +5G. I had a Galaxy S9+ that paired perfectly with the watch. I have done all your steps several time along with suggestions to clear cache (as others in this thread have mentioned) in Galaxy Wearables and deleting all my bluetoothed connected items (as a referenced link in this thread advise). Still no luck. I can't believe how difficult it is to pair the same manufacturers devices. Any suggestions on next steps?
