Will the image disappear over time like the thermal store receipts do?

Use Arylic pens ( bright color) to color the numbers for the sizing . It will visible and easy to do.

Thermal paper prints typically fade within a few months. Is that an issue with this device?

Curiosity, why have one? What is the benefit to it. The paper seems thin, prints only in black and white, have to have special papers. Confusion on why it may be needed.
