I don't even know how we got here, the man was a normal composer and one day made the PW soundtrack, ascended to "Bandai Namco" composer godhood and now serves Banger after Banger to the world.
And for once he serves the Banger with the Banger french plane as cover. I sure hope AC8 is upon us and that you are part of the sound team. I don't believe in god but I'll definitely pray for a Pavli-Kobayashii collab during a plane game bossfight

This is so on the nose with 2025 i just can't help but laugh and embrace the inminent global orange

This sounds simultaneously noble and tragic, as if something bad happening, which didn't have to happen at all.
Listening to this, I imagine the sequel for PW, where you play BOTH as Monarch and as Driver, switching POVs from mission to mission, and slowly realising that the war itself is bullshit and both sides are the same - there are good people, there are shitty people, there are heroes and villains, noble feats and warcrimes, on each side of a conflict. And your heroes from both sides could really become friends, if only they had an option to meet and know each other somewhere NOT on a battlefield.

And then - final mission, where it is all or nothing for both Cascadia and the Federation. The world burns around you, grand aerial fleets clashing in the last battle to rule the ashes. Both aces are on the field, both giving their all. And you jump perspective several times, between your beloved heroes and friends, untill the game message shows, prompting you to make final POV choice:

_THERE IS NO MORE GOOD OR BAD_
_THERE ARE NO HEROES OR VILLAINS_
_CHOOSE YOUR ALLEGIANCE_

*_THERE WILL BE NO HAPPY ENDING_*

This sounds both graceful and dramatic, as if 2 skilled swordsmen fought in the midst of a building that is falling apart, at the climax of some grand story.
