Miss my Westie so much - had him since 8 weeks to 15.5yrs. Every day is hard as the house is now empty.

I had a westie his name was Bobby and he was my life. He developed dry eyes at 2 years old and had to have eye drops for the next 10 years😩. He did eventually go blind but he had a brother who was by his side always. He could run he could do anything with Samuel by his side. Eventually his back legs gave way and he went to the rainbow bridge. I will never forget my Bobby, he was a very loyal dog. I can’t have anymore dogs because of the pain they put me through when they crossed over to the other side.

Bought my current Westie in Colorado, a road trip from Tucson, named her Fiona and she is now 2. She is my 6th West Highlands Terrier since 1980. Love the breed and can't imagine being without one.

We had two westies growing up, a boy and a girl, who were just the greatest pups anyone could ask for. Sadly, they've both passed on.

My Westie is 16 years old now. She’s been with us since I was just 2 and now I’m 18. We’ve just got a new puppy (we’ve 4 dogs now) and it’s madness. Our Westie is deaf, blind and sleeps most of the day, but she has her random bursts and she still loves walks. She’s definitely a trooper and she’s getting on well despite the joint stiffness and minor ear infection. (She’s treated for both, and no she isn’t in pain otherwise we’d have let her go for her own sake)
