This certainly brought back a lot of memories for me from when I was still of primary school age. As I was watching the photo's of them at the start, I couldn't believe that I could still name most of the characters. Absolutely brilliant, thank you.

Very touching, lovely to see those that lived long lives and are still living. Very sad the ones taken far too young. A bit depressing, I am now one of the oldies. Its snuck up upon me.

I never stop wanting to watch these episodes, so funny, and yet with an ever present underlying awareness of the gaps in our education system, in which family wealth and social position play such a major part in children's futures. This was a true masterpiece of social commentary and glorious entertainment at a time just before the rot began to set in everywhere.

I loved to watch Please Sir when possible. I watched at home with my gran's. When the days of television viewing was worth watching, and had better actors and actresses. LWT provided good comedy programs back in the 1960s to the late 1970s.
