I own this Rear Handle Makita 7 1/4 saw and It handles everything Ive thrown at it. I was new into Carpentry when I bought it as my 1st big purchase and man this was a good investment!

I currently have this makita 36v rear handle circular saw with my own personal tools at home and I have another makita 36v rear handle circular saw at work with my work tools. I’m a union journeyman carpenter for 15 years with the Hawaii carpenters union. This saw is amazing .

@Sparky Channel. Bill . Thanks again for the video. I like how Makita kits this rear-handle saw with a dual port rapid charger. I don't see that with other companies. Those other companies make us buy their rapid chargers separately. The only thing I don't like about this saw is that Makita did not make a place on the saw to stow the wrench. Other than that, a great rear handle saw.

O… sd… thats wassup. I just got this saw from home depot. They have them on sale… now i see why. Theyre a few years old. And they have new stuff….
Got this saw for about 260… it included the saw/charger/2 batt plus i got a makita jigsaw for free. The 169.00 model…pretty good deal…

The angle scale on this saw is way off, you can't set accurate angles.
