There's lots of changes on the F1 grid for 2021, with seven of the 10 teams switching at least one of their drivers. Ahead of the new season, we asked eight of our writers to rank the line-ups for this year, and we scored the results using the current F1 points system. Personally, I think it’s a very bold move for Haas to put Mick Schumacher on a team all by himself without a partner.

*Edit After Bahrain: lol

That Alonso guy seems very promising for a young rookie.

Unusual to see a team go with one driver, bold strategy from haas

Bottas is literally the ideal driver for Mercedes, doubt Toto wants another Rosberg.

Surprised that Red Bull is only 2nd on the list. Both their drivers have a more proven track record compared to the Ferrari drivers and are currently on the top of their performance, especially when it comes to consistency.

Keep in mind Hamilton still doesn’t have a contract

Is Aston Martin seriously worse than Alpha Tauri and Alpine really ?

It's just insane how much talent is on the grid right now. There's no doubting Hamilton's skill, but I imagine races would be much more entertaining if Mercedes wasn't a full second faster. There are so many young drivers who could put up a title challenge if they had a good car.

unbelievable how this list was almost perfectly in tune with the Constructor's Championship rankings this late in the season. Only errors (pre-Saudi and Abu Dhabi) are Ferrari swapped with Mercedes

Just hope Aston Martin not become another Mercedes B-team

Can't wait to see Mclaren this year, it's gonna be an amazing season for sure.

Very hyped list in my opinion. Russell is great, but to say him alone makes Williams pair better than Alfa Romeo? Leclerc has a long way to improve, being very similar to the old days' Max, with almost zero patience and some ridiculous mistakes. And that's not to mention Alpine, with Ocon being just a regular driver and Alonso coming back, which at least should raise similar doubts as to the ones over Vettel.

But hey, that's what lists are for right? :D

The Race: It's been 4 years, Stroll needs to prove himself!
Also The Race: Surely Sainz just needs one more year!

No respect for Bottas; consistency is underrated in F1. He did not get 2nd place by accident, he has good lap speed and makes very few mistakes on track.

In my opinion Redbull has a stronger line-up than Ferrari. Ferrari's line-up sure is close to the top as well.
