to merge the raster :
1- Create a empty raster dataset where you will merge the raster
2- Mosaicking raster

This look pretty cool. I have like 30 rasters from the USGS that I need to combine. I am going to combine 4 rasters as a test but, I have the feeling that I should reclass the raster first. The rasters from USGS for the 1/9 arc second are like 350MB for each tile. I know that the mosaic tool can resample the cell size of the rasters but, the raster might process quicker if they are already resized. This whole process looks like its a job for Python.

Save yourself a step and simply use the "Mosaic to New Raster" tool instead!

Hi, I'm wondering why the TIF dataset that I added is showing RGB value instead of elevation value like in this video? does it mean that my dataset is not yet a raster? sorry for such a newbie question. Thx in advance, Geo tech.

Thank you very much but I have a question from which website you download the DEM data if you reply the website address to me on reply. I downloaded the data from a few websites but it has some problem with cell size like it doesn't have the exact cell size like 32 it give me cell size (0.00273773838) while I running my model. the cell size must be the exact number not decimal.
