Thank you again, for revealing so much of what farmers go through to bring in a crop. You, Larson Farms, 10th Generation Dairy Farmer, and the Saskdutchkid, show so much of the daily trials and tribulations of farmers.

It amazes me how Cooper knows exactly what to do with engines, and how all the machinery work, and to fix them so fast. You, Cooper, and your Dad are great at working together. I know you probably have a few heated discussions, but never last very long. You are the booksmart one and fearless with trying new things. Nothing seems to be out of reach, including catching the little boys that Neva delivered. To be clear, she had easy deliveries compared to some. You need to give that lady a high five and big hug every morning and every night. 😊❤ And most of all, tell her how much you love her and how pretty she is. Young moms need to hear that.

Down South we deal with resistant palmer amaranth (amaranthus palmeri). It is tough to kill and can have a stalk as large as your ankle diameter. In cotton we would pay laborers to pull it by hand and burn it to prevent the seed from spreading.

Please remember to put down a geo fabric before the rock. It keeps the rock from sinking and weeds grass from invading. Wish i had done it, Still may.

Hi Cole
That’s why the rest of the world uses the metric system, no ounces, quarts or even gallons it’s easy just litres and millilitres and that’s it.

Your timing can be helped using simple project management tools. First identify all the items for a certain function that has to happen and estimate the window and resources (person time) then figure out what has to happen and when and the overlap all the following items till it's workable and makes sense. You'll find out that your starting time is much earlier than you ever imagined.

I’ve always loved to take things apart and put them back together just to see how it works. Drove my Mom nuts! I’ve always been very girlie ever when I was little. Get my dress dirty and I had to change it. She said she didn’t understand why when I was such a clean freak I wanted to disassemble things! After watching all that assembly you guys just did I’m glad I went to nursing school!!! 😂

50 years ago, a small town did not have their electricity lines up to code height. Needless to say, Dad and I drove through that town, ripping everyone electricity meters off their homes. What a mess and pile of spaghetti behind us 😂

One big thing that comes to mind when watching this video is you are very lucky to have each other!!

Hi Cole, loving the content. That rubber in your filters is the insides of a hose deteriorating. Of course hard telling which ones. If that was the sprayer you put the new feed hose on you might have got it changed.

Maybe it would pay off to have a small fibreoptic camera to look inside the hoses for the sprayers. The lining is clearly coming off from somewhere. Anyway, don't wait on getting those inline filters installed. Looks like you'll need 'em.

the debris in the strainer/filter is the hose that is deteriorating

You can use a spreadsheet to create a GANTT chart that will assist you to create a project schedule for planting, harvest, maintenance, just about everything you do on the farm. Once you have your charts made, you can identify all the resources necessary to accomplish various tasks and have them in place. It will save you a lot of time.
