No keynote required as they just added ability to connect to two monitors, which would be helpful when I decide to actually use my 1. And apparently a new anti fingerprint coating for midnight, which some testing has shown moderate improvements, however, exacerbated in some tests. So, as I prepare to pick up my M2 Midnight Air with a huge smile on my face, I can objectively admit what the biggest improvement was with the launch of the M3. It was the new Apple lineup that kept the M2 an active SKU and thus lowered the starting price, which Best Buy ideally decided to discount by $200 because MacBook sales are plummeting, inflation is real and, most importantly, they are trying to make Boxing Week in August a thing. Smh. I guess it’s a logical extension of Christmas in July, right!?
