Not saying I disagree here, but describing the people disagreeing as disagreeing because people are living feels a bit disingenuous. People don't seem to be mad that characters are living, they seem to be mad about *how* their survival is being revealed. It's kind of just "Oh, hey, remember Higuruma? Remember how he nearly got turned to bacon bits by Sukuna? He's alive now, with no explanation!" And I can see why they're mad, even if I think him living is fine.

People complained not just because so many characters were being killed off but because it was lazy writing to do so. It's even MORE lazy writing to just up and bring them back. Whether it was intentional or not saying "people are mad whether he kills them off or if he doesn't" is a strawman because that was never the problem. The problem was bad writing.

I don’t even care abt JJK anymore. Gege doesn’t seem to know what to do with this amazing cast. He’s wasted so many characters that would be considered favorites if they were in any other anime. He’s great at making cool characters, giving them cool designs and creating cool backstories for them. He was even really good at making the story of this manga for a while, but clearly not anymore.

If it was Disney Kaisen then Yuji would’ve successfully convinced Sukuna to be a good person in the domain and everyone would be brought back to life for one reason or another.

The problem isn't the character surviving itself, the problem is that when u fake out deaths to the point gege did it just makes the main villains look imcompatiant and idiotic. Like are u telling me that mahito with a one hit kill teniquice out of 3 people he hit with it he only killed one person. And this gets even worse when sukuna KING OF CURSES with atleast 100 years of pure killing only could kill 2 characters from the main cast out off like 6-8. All these characters surviving against all odds could be done correctly but gege just decided to write them out the rest off the arc, no check ups no nothing. Makes no sense. And this also scales down every feat done before like HOW THE HELL DID MAKI EAT 2 BLACK FLASHES, WELL ONE FROM GOJO LEFT SUKUNA GASPING FOR AIR.

This also affects the themes itself of jjk if their just gona take back ever death. They build this world where death has weight and feelings(atleast in shibuya) then every character that "died" is back now
