That firefighter was the perfect man for the job.. he instinctively wanted to measure how light is to light when throwing the porcelain.. and in his great instinct and curiosity came a lesson, not just for him but his brothers in fire as well. Bravo good sir.

Firefighters looking for a better way of getting into a burning car with fully intact windows.

So, if you see a burning car, search for a spark plug and a hammer🔨 then break the spark plug, then cast a piece of it on the glass.

I figured this would be an actual tactic firefighters use if a car is in front of a fire hydrant so they break the windows to hose it through the car instead of around so the line doesn't kink. Unless their hammers/sticks are made of porcelain?

Not sure, but porcelain must be harder than the glass. I think that would mean that it does not need as much speed, as softer materials, to break the glass.
As a stupid kid, I found out a BB from a generic BB gun will do the same thing, (Cost me a new window. What a pain. All pun intended). I am sure the softer BB was going faster than the arm can throw.
Especially that first throw. Don't worry. Good Baseball pitchers are not remembered more than good batters. :)

This appears to be so effective, I was considering keeping some pieces in my glove box in case of emergency. Fortunately I do not live in CA.
