Update 4: HOW DID THIS VIDEO PASS 10,000 VIEWS?!!! THANK YOU ALL FOR THE SUPPORT!!!!
Update 3: Thank you all for the views and likes! Really appreciate it!
Update 2: Turns out, activating the night filter on either the Tab 2 10.1 or the Tab 2 7.0 can cause significant system slow-downs. After turning off the night light filter (called LiveDisplay) on both Tab 2 variants, they are relatively snappy and fast devices, despite their age. I recommend the LineageOS method for functionality purposes again. I apologise for any confusions I may have caused. Either way, I'm just glad to have another functional tablet out of a landfill again. Do keep in mind that some apps can cause the device to produce some mild heat and stutters here and there. However, the Tab 2 10.1 is still running a whole lot better now and is at a more usable state than before. I can actually watch a 720p YouTube video with no major problems 👍🏻
Update: After multiple attempts to smooth out the overall experience, I recommend adding LineageOS onto the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 as a tech project. Don't try to do this if you want to get a better user experience out of old hardware. I have had better luck modifying my Galaxy S3 and my Galaxy Tab 2 7.0. Modify those instead. They'll yield much better results.
