This is the physics-defying moment a man appears to throw a basketball several metres in the air after performing a cannonball dive.
George Robson, 24, filmed his uncle Daniel perform a ‘manu’, a way of diving traditional to the Maori of New Zealand which closely resembles a cannonball, in Balmoral Beach, Australia.
Daniel is also seen holding a basketball, which shoots up extremely high in the air moments after the man touches the water.
The throw seemed way too powerful to have been generated by Daniel's strength only, and the baffling video went viral online with millions of views.
