OH YES, my HTC HD2 comes in the mail in a matter of minutes. I bought the phone hoping they can get Android working well on it and I still have the bigger screen compared to the Nexus One that's why I didn't get the Nexus One. That wish is slowly but surely coming true. So excited!! I will post an unboxing by tonight.

@halo45121 The only reason I say that is because even if they do get Android running on the HD2, there is going to be something, that just doesn't work right, and you will never have the full experience of Android on the Killer hardware that is the HD2 (which should have been an Android device anyway. I owned one and took it back to T-Mobile)

To buy a non-Android phone only to try to put Android on the phone just doesn't seem to bright to me though. But that's just me.

brandon (pocketnowvideo), nice video, thanks. quick question. I've never used an HD2 or installed an OS diff from manufactures. Pls tell me what the impact is on the phone (HD2) eg can can you still use both OS's simultanously or is it difficult to switch? Does the phone become noticably slower? Is functionality on original OS affected due to the presence of a new OS? if new OS is loaded on SD card will it still nolify the warranty?

Okay, if you get Android on your HTC HD2, what cell phone networks will it work on? Is it just AT&T? Or will it work on T-Mobile? Anyone? It looks amazing!

I hope there is a port for the Samsung Wave soon, since both the HD2 and Samsung Wave has a 1GHz Processor, I hope there is someone who would port Samsung Galaxy S's firmware onto Samsung Wave.

How easy is it to switch back and forth from Windows to Android? I definitely want to use Android but I'm trying to figure out if I should wait for more updates or if I should switch now (which I'll do now if I can easily switch back to Windows for functions that do not work in Android).

@MyHD2AndOthers Well good luck with your iphone 4. Just remember you can't hold it in your left hand, you cant hold it with yoru hand down the lower part of the phone, the signal meter is wrong, so ignore it, and the camera take 30 seconds to take a photo as it locks up. So good luck with that!

My phone gets warm when I use this thing. Is it normal? It doesn't normally get hot unless I'm in a phone call. But simply loading up android causes it to heat up.

If a port doesn't work, then a Custom Build would work.
