Rubik's Cube, 1 Turn Per MILE (On Foot)

I scramble up a 3x3 cube and aim to solve it by only doing a single turn for each mile I travel by foot.

EDIT: I'm getting lots of comments about how moves like "U2" should count as 2 turns. According to Outer Block Turn Metric (as defined by the World Cube Association), any outer block turn, be it 90 degrees or 180 degrees, indeed counts as a single move. If you think about it, there's nothing about the word "turn" that implies it must be 90 degrees; you could turn the right side 7 times and it would still be a single, continuous turn.



For anyone confused, the left side of the screen shows a top-down view of our path, as recorded by GPS. The red arrow is our current position at any given mile marker.
