Ya know, I love to watch soap cutting videos. But every video I watch is basically also a video on how to not to use a knife properly. First off, you shouldn’t be cutting towards you, you need to be cutting away from your person. Secondly, it is hard in this situation to cut away from yourself, but at least wear something to protect your thumb!

If you don't already, you should melt the cut soap and put it in a mold so you can reuse ot

To all those who think this is a waste of soap:
1. The remnants can be melted and reused.
2. Some soaps are meant for this.
3. Soap remnants can be sold if you have enough of them
