The pre-order phase for the latest title in the spectacular RTS series created by developers Eugen Systems starts today, one month before the release of the game! Pre-ordering will let fans to access, in the coming days, to the game's Beta Early Access version, and immerse themselves in the first multiplayer battles in Wargame Red Dragon.

To celebrate this event, Wargame Red Dragon is presenting a thrilling visual event with an explosive Naval Trailer, where you can witness one of the great new features in the game, the naval forces, engaging in ferocious clashes in the biggest and most impressive naval battle ever seen in a video game!

This stunning new Wargame Red Dragon video therefore reveals its very first naval battle with a wave of massive destroyers, explosions, smoking cannons and warships sent to the bottom of the ocean; a taste of the skirmishes you'll soon experience for real in the Early Access version! More than just extra units, the naval forces in Red Dragon lend a fresh strategic depth to the game, unlocking tactical opportunities for any commanders smart enough to exploit their power to the max, notably on the game maps specifically created for them.

The Wargame Red Dragon pre-order offer opens today, and over the next few days players who have pre-ordered the game can access the Beta Early Access version and plunge headlong into the first multiplayer battles in Red Dragon way ahead of the rest. On land, in the air and now at sea, the largest battles with up to 20 players simultaneously are now within your grasp!

And another piece of good news: we've launched a special offer for all Wargame AirLand Battle players. In addition to the Beta Early Access, owners of AirLand Battle will be granted a special discount of 25% on Wargame Red Dragon (on Steam and the official website)!

This video represents actual gameplay: Noobs launching their entire roster and air decks at once only to lose them.

My favorite moments in this trailer are the times when you can hear the distinctive hum of the 30 mm rotary cannon on an A-10.

First, its was just ground combat, then they included air vehicles, now they introduced naval warfare. I predict that the next game will be Wargame: SPACEWAR

The roster for Naval ships is small. I hope they expand upon it over the years.

I respect their decision in taking a break from the series. I would love for these guys to continue the series fully refreshed and ready to produce another ground breaking RTS.

2 new FREE (read, FREE) DLCs are on production, one is almost ready, the Second Korean War taking place in 1992, and the second one will be an update for Scandinavia, and yes, you will get this automatically for free when the updates came.

THANKS FOR EXISTING EUGEN AND FOCUS!

I like the feel of crimson tide's theme being used in this game's theme music.

0:09 not sure if the ship in the background is sleek and high tech, or just low poly.

You guys have the best trailers I swear, for a game that looks pretty good you make it look amazing with your music choices.

I hope they add more naval ships to the roster. I wouldn't mind seeing the larger classes of ships such as Ticonderoga Class Cruisers, Kirov Class Battlecruisers, and maybe Iowa Class Battleships (we used them in the Gulf War) appear.

At 0:21 you see a chopper take off from a ship. Is this actually possible or is it just some cool looking scene just added for the trailer? I have seen alot of closed beta gameplay of ships. But I havent seen this been done yet. And it would make sense. Rearming choppers from the huge Burke(?) class ships with landing pads on the back. Most ships, atleast from my knowledge have a chopper with them, for either reconnaissance or boarding/tactical purposes along with fast attack boats. And given their size, they would have plenty of supply to rearm it.

The game is awesome regardless and I cant wait for it to be released. But I have always wondered if that is actual ingame gameplay or just some Trailer scene too make it look cool.
