What we did on our holiday is really good. it was funny, touching and sad. All the actors were rather good. But it's the kids who steel the film.  And for me Billy Connelly gives the performance of his career.  The outdoor shots of Scotland looked wonderful on the big screen. And David didn't look bad ether. All the big America blockbuster films I've seen usually disappoint me but this left me feeling good. Amazed by how many people were there as well. It was about half full. Not bad for a British film on it's first night.
