Dodecafugue - Dodecaphonic fugue in Prokofiev style

A fugue written for the pure joy of writing a fugue on a dodecaphonic subject in a Prokofiev(ish) style.

Definitely the headphones improved the experience here! The complexity and the fine craftsmanship of this piece is astonishing. Making a non-critical analysis, I might say that the descendant chromatic elements in the theme really adds a dark element to the piece, a dark and cold feeling usually seen on mid XX century pieces. Notably this retro vibe is intentional, nothing wrong here! I personally feel that nowadays contemporary music needs a more detached melody, like a different instrument in the arrangement, some reverse and disconnected uplifting motions and lots of drones and ambience background. If I could I'll create some attempts of composing something myself, but I'm nowhere near the capabilities of doing that. Keep doing your great job, subscribed.
