I just watched a video that touched my heart. The setting was from the Philippines where many children who are poor having a hard time finding their paths in life because not all are fortunate in life and thought doing wrong for easy money and violence will help them. This is an eye opener to all that we need to choose the right path because even if it’s a hard journey you’ll prevail and achieve something good or great in life. Endurance and patience is the key. Loving this music and video so much.

I used to remember back there in manila, failed school, always wild always drank too much ended in a fights, going home bloody nose and bruises, that's how you get respect, I almost died before. I finally realized to stop. And now in the US as a nurse. God is good, change is good. Kids stay away from drugs.

10 years later, and this video still hits me in a place where no other video has. Perhaps it's because of my Filipino descent, but I relate to the story of the path you choose is your fate. I was the kid who chose the wrong path, but luckily, I ended up on the right path. Not all of us were as lucky. Til today, this is my favorite video, despite era or genre. Just beautiful and powerful at the same time. I almost shed a tear every time. Thank you for making this.

Tears. ---This was shot I believe in depress areas in Manila. A story like this is perhaps inspired from real events as there are a lot child runners here peddling drugs in the street of Manila. Once someone got engage in the trade, it is like putting one feet burried on the ground as we call it, as death is lurking always to those who choose such. I got inspired with this MTV, as I take care of children not of my own too. Not all are as depress as that but children can be vulnerable still in our area. There is one family I know among my kids who had similar situation with their parents. True, life is really hard for them. Children are filled with frustration and hatred because of their parents addiction. In my case, I have a hard time reaching to the children trying to impart knowledge and wisdom to them as they are attracted with escaping the sadness and just having money because they think that it is the things that could make them happy. I work to be their second father/teacher and guide. They gave up and went on their way leaving their frends here. Now, with so much little guidance elsewhere. This video inspired though to never give up on them, I would never stop hoping they will change eventually.

For all the non-Finns: When they sing “not giving in” it sounds exactly like the Finnish words “nakki vene” which directly translates to “sausage/wiener boat”.... this turned into a huge meme in finland.... and when Rudimental performed it in Finland the crowd threw sausages with little sails attached! Im from the uk and this is why i love the finnish people!😂🇫🇮❤️

Just had to listen to this song. It's been two years since I lost my best friend in a sailing accident. What madness it was, building a boat out of sausages ;__;
