How to use XM Copy Trading - And my results!

In today's video I’m going to be trying out the world of copy trading, and seeing if it’s true that you can Copy a trader, invest your money, and while you’re at work, or on holiday or even while you’re sleeping you can make money from trading.. without any experience.

I’m going to go right from 0, and take you through the process of signing up and depositing and I’ll show you what i personally look for when i’m looking to review a copy a trader and their strategy, and by the end of the video, I’m going to be investing R2,000 of my own money, live and in real time on the XM Copy Trading platform and we’ll be tracking and reviewing the results. I really do have a question. For someone with less than $5, 000 to invest, how would you recommend we enter the market? I am looking at studying some traders and copying their strategy rather than investing myself and losing money emotionally. What’s your take on this approach?

Not that I needed a guide for setting up an account, but I was patient enough to watch it. I can recommend it to anyone new to trading and willing to start copy-trading. In half an hour all the important aspects can be learned from this video. And it’s always recommended to be safe than sorry :)

One thing to keep an eye on for beginner traders:
If you decided to copy trade, don't just go with the trades please, what I mean is, try to learn from them. If you just copy without analyzing, you will not learn anything useful.

The concept of copy trading is actually really simple. I like how he breaks it down and explains all of the advantages of using the xm trading platform. I can tell you for free though, you can still lose money like that, but that is why you need to make use of the risk management tools that they have made available.

I've been copying a trader with another broker for the past 5 months and I've been making an average of 20% return a month, the worst month he had was -0.49%

So a few tips from my experience

1. If your account is not adequately funded I'd suggest you mostly follow scalpers, because swing traders tend to hold trades for longer and this could do serious damage to your small account

2. I'm not sure how xm works but most brokers allow you to adjust risk and copy ratio so be sure to adjust them properly in proportion to your account
