Some of you are actually delulu.. this is how the music industry works. Demos are written for artists, the artist sings the song, and sometimes demo vocals are used as background vocals. It's not stealing, everyone gets paid. It was the producer who decided to use Taylors vocal chops, not Rihanna.

I remember listening to the song again and again when it came out coz Taylor was dating calvin at that time and I'm a swiftie, didn't knew about him coz an Indian in 2016, I was not much exposed to much international artists. And i thought wow its sound like Taylor voice. And then there was the drama and finally calvin said it was written by Taylor Swift and it all made sense.

Fun fact in the song "the monster under my bed" there is high notes that Rihanna can't sing, the person who actually sang the high notes was bebe rexa and she didn't even like that they used her voice. It's sad not many people knew that. 😢

taylor’s vocals are all over that song because she wrote rihanna’s part. she was credited under her pseudonym originally because she and calvin harris were dating but then taylor requested to be credited under her own name once they broke up. the demo version with taylor’s voice was the original version and was going to be used, but i can’t remember why it wasn’t used, probably because calvin thought rihanna’s vocals fit more? let me know what n y’all think in the replies

That's Taylor is the final cut of Rihanna's version. She was dating Calvin Harris at the time. Both parties (Calvin and Taylor) have said it's her vocal in that part.

The third one is different. Taylor’s has more of an “oo” sound like in “oops”. While Rihanna’s version has more of an “uh” sound.
