My parents gave me this fear just before I turned ten when they forced me to watch 3 hours worth of scary doll videos telling me "you're a big girl now; you're old enough to handle this stuff."

All these years later and I am a huge horror genre fan and see scary movies as child's play 😉

Edit: I don't want anyone reading this comment to assume that my parents are bad or abusive due to this story, so lemme clear some things up real quick: this was a one time thing, and after seeing how I reacted to it they never pulled it on any of my siblings or me again. They are incredible parents and I wouldn't trade them for the world 💖💖💖
