Power Query: Approx. & fuzzy matching (#s, dates & text)

Approximate match in Power Query isn't so obvious but can be done in quite an elegant way by appending queries. I showcase examples with numbers and another with dates for a more complex scenario. An approximate match can also be defined using text, e.g. Pete and Peter are the same or Mr Pete etc. This is a completely different type of technology called fuzzy matching, and Power Query is equipped to deal with it as well.
