I'm so glad that you expanded out to The Bronx! Neighbors look out for each other, and the buildings and apartments are enormous, beautiful Art Deco creations!

I am SOOOO happy you showed The Poe House.
I used to play around Poe's house and the surrounding park when I was a little girl.
I remember being sooo curious about that house. Always loved it.
Thanks so much for this vid! #memories

Very good inside to the borough that is almost as overlooked as Staten Island. It could have been longer but you definitely did some justice. I'm Jamaican-American myself so it was cool to see the best Jamaican/Caribbean restaurants making the real food. Much respect!

No mention of Morris Park...I used to walk through Morris Park every day on my way from the 5 train to my workplace. Morris Park is a beautiful neighborhood. The displays on the homes for Halloween and Christmas are stunning.

The first part was amazing, but this is just as good. I knew Shawn did a good job showing Tal around his borough, but he definitely did a better job showing you around. I always passed through Pelhan Bay Park to go to City Island and Westchester County, but never had time to go. The park looks awesome and I'm ready to chow down on some beef patties and oxtail. The best thing I loved about these videos is the amount of pride Shawn has in his borough. My dad grew up in the South Bronx decades back and of course the area wasn't the best, but I see the borough nowadays as a smaller version of Queens due to the strong Ethnic diversity (Italians, Dominicans, Jamaicans, Mexicans, etc), vast amount of parks (Pelham Bay, Crotona, Van Cortlandt, Barreto Point), and overall history of the borough, especially with music (salsa and hip hop). Badass video you guys!

Loved the videos. I lived in The Bronx most of my life. I left for Florida in 1980 when The Bronx was not the ideal place to raise a child. But thanks for showing how the it's a lot better now.

Expat Bronxite. Great videos about an underrated part of NYC. BTW Taste the Island is about 6 blocks from the house Bruno Hauptmann, the kidnaper of the Lindberg Baby, lived. Loved your Artur Ave video. Also, another historical place in The Bronx is Woodlawn Cemetery where many famous people are buried.
