I totally agree with you. Been on Mercari for almost a year now and have sold way more items including clothing on Mercari than I have on Poshmark. Mercari IS a better platform to make money, offers analytics and I've received more views than Poshmark. Great video!

Poshmark is a social app not geared toward resellers. & I don't think they will ever switch their main focus, which is the social aspect. that's one of the reasons they don't give as much data as other platforms. the majority of their users are just selling things from their own closet & don't care about those numbers. so it's really comparing apples to oranges here :(

Do you find there are more chances of being scammed from ebay buyers than the other platforms ? Ive seen videos of people saying scammers try to fraudulently return stuff at the cost of the seller and get away with it and that there is very little seller protection on ebay.

I’m switching from eBay to Mercari just to see how it really stacks up. So far I would say slightly slower sales but way less headache. The 3 days to review is so amazing. I would say eBay has the advantage but I could see Mercari closing the gap someday.

Hi Sebastian! New sub to your channel. I started off on Poshmark and Mercari in November and I was surprised how quickly I made sales on Mercari. I then also added eBay. I also hate Poshmark. I hate sharing and feeling like I am losing so much in sales becUse of the low ball offers and high Poshmark fees.

The biggest frustration with Mercari is having to relist items after sending offers to likers and not getting a sale from it because like Poshmark, you have to lower your offer in order to send out anymore offer to likers.

We've sold a couple of items on Poshmark but like you said its just not very user friendly! Mercari is super simple from a seller's pov to the buyer's.

Because there is a app for IOS called Seller insights. I to be up front have used it for a day but all the information on there is extremely helpful to show what’s most popular for you, repeat customers, and much more like copying listings for mercari and eBay to make it easier for you.... upfront 9.99 a month so after this month we will see if SI added enough value. Obviously it depends on how many listing I listed and sweat equity I put in.

Personally I feel mercari is the worst among the three. Rcvd millions likes but never sold. Dont know why make likes ..I am kind of fed up... hugh
