World's slowest police chase

Deputies with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office in Oregon were able to catch a wanted man by simply walking behind him as he tried to drive away in a slow-moving excavator. Sgt. Danny DiPietro told FOX Television Stations it was the "world’s slowest pursuit."

The chase ended shortly after when one of the officers ran ahead and laid down spike strips. He missed, as usual, but the suspect died of laughter.
