The support for Manie, by coach, ex Bok players and fans w any knowledge of the game, is very inspiring

I really hope the home crowd gets behind Manie...booing him will just add even more pressure to what he will be feeling before he takes a kick..

Maybe we must remember that the focus is winning the championship

I am not convinced about Manie Libbok, but what I do like is the support and strength in Boks management to back a player who’s down, hope he gets a good start and shows his magic, if not Pollock is there as backup. Glad Moerat is out of match day 23, no energy, good on Fassie getting backed too. Now we can win this by 20 points, Argentina great side played their final last week, Go springboks
Thanks for the content and update

Rassie has once again shown his coaching class and character… to back Manie after last weekends mistakes is such a mature and positive position to take. Manie has an opportunity to grow and I’ve no doubt he’ll grab it with both hands (and feet)! Come on Bokke!

People please don’t give Manie hate. I don’t understand it but at least Pollard can come on and finish the game. The way it should have been in Argentina.

Remember, Manie was top scorer when the Stormers won the URC and his kicking troubles started when the brought in the timer for kicking for posts. He is a great playmaker and i am sure he will get his confidence back with the placekicks.

My hope for Mannie is that he’s a “Jessie Kriel success story”. I was one of the major doubters of Kriel and could not understand his selection over and over again, and now Rassies trust in backing him is very clear. Similarly, I am hugely frustrated by Mannie, but hopefully, by the next World Cup, this is what happens with Mannie - because of backing him he flourishes as an over-all flyhalf. Doesn’t hurt to have 3 excellent flyhalves available to choose from. Might as well give him time to grow now rather than resorting to him in 2027 when we find ourselves in an unfortunate injury situation.

Manie great pn tackticle kicking, yes he missed one last week, but overall he has been pretty good, reckon he will keep tactile kicking duties..

Let’s not forget Mannies contribution at the World Cup, he did a lot of good stuff in Santiago and has to be part of the longer term plan for 2027 Let’s back Mannie

Good report on the team selection, as always Brenden.
I think that Rassie's selection of Manie in the number 10 jersey is an excellent selection.
Manie will be a key playmaker for the Boks this coming Saturday.

Manie will bounce back- watch this space.

Thing to remember is there is no law that says the flyhalf has to be the kicker, his fieldcraft is right up there so he deserves his spot on the team.

Well done to Rassie, right move. Gotta back his players, much prefer Manie starting and Polly on the bench to close out. Lets get behind and support him.

Rassie did not double down. Some fans complained. Rassie immediately defended him.

This is not so much about Manie but about Rassie, Tony and the other management team saying Pollard cannot deliver the goods and they will rather take Manie and cushion his faults and shortcomings by adding extra kickers in the team, ( Jaden and Cheslin) . It's disappointing how you can be great one day and then kicked to the bottom of the pecking order the next🤷‍♀️. Keep your head up Handre. You won us world cups and will surely rise in the midst of this never ending drama. Nothing against Manie. But I don't see how you can't stick to the 10 you already have.

The question is, is Mannie in the right mind? Psychologically that guy is gutted.

Brenden I agree with you on Jordan Hendrikse. His kick to win the CC showed his class. His running game also fits in with the Tony Brown style of play. With him at 15 and Kolbe at 14 we would have a world class backline to match our pack. Lots of exciting talent coming through the Sharks youngsters eg.Venter, Hooker and Keyter.

On Saturday I was all for chucking him out.
On reflection, keeping a cool head means that there is merit in what Rassie is doing.
Another thing, a lot of players over the ages had difficult patches and eventually overcame them. Hopefully, Mannie does the same.
I'm looking forward to this Test on Saturday.
