Servisol, protective circuit board lacquer, 15 NZ kopeks from Jaycar for a 175g spray can. Highly recommended. A proper conformal coating that has none of the drawbacks on the document shown. Fly Woo seems a very accurate name... emphasis on the woo ;) Looks like a simple silicone spray with extra marketing sauce.

Stuff seems to work OK, for some purposes. I can see it being quite handy for me, I use a lot of PCB stuff that is out in the weather all the time connected to antenna's and tuner's for HAM radio use. It would reduce the size and requirements for weather protection on some items dramatically if they were water repellent on their own. The 3-4 mini balun's I have in plastic boxes sitting at ground level come to mind right away, similar to the shown flight control boards, covered with exposed components that dislike moisture. Shame it is so expensive.

Great video Andrew, rcwithadam had a video using hotglue on esc's and seemed to work if i remember.

Maybe the ESC needs to be dunked in solution and then drip dried?

Did you spray the ESC three times as mentioned on Banggoods website? Might make a difference. You and Virginia stay safe.

Don't think I'll be rushing off to Banggood to buy any. Have to give that one a fail
