Nikon Coolpix L820 zoom test

I bought my new Nikon Coolpix today and tested it's 30x optical zoom along with 4x digital zoom. :)

and can i fix external lenses to this camera for better shooting?

The option for 4x digital zoom is in the Cam only. I didn't do anything but pressed the zoom button of the cam.

i discovered canon eos 550 D is the best one for making short movies with the lense 18-55 and 75-300 ml. though i dont have any knowledge about lenses and any other camera stuff. that cost around 50k, , cant afford that much.so no other way but will go for L820.

today only i have contact to a nearest nikon dealer, priced 14000, 4 gb card and battery charger free, along with case and other equipments like case, data cable etc.

i will surely go for L820.

are you happy with the video recording by this camera. i am thinking to buy this one to make short films, my budget is 15k, so found this one the best. any suggestion?

I don't think we can fix external lenses to this camera. I'm not sure.. You better consult someone related to Nikon regarding this question.

Harish, have you checked the Easy Panorama and 3D modes? more specifically the easy panorama view...does it actually work for 180 and 360 deg, as some user comments mention that they have a problem on their L820s with the Easy Panorama mode

At max resolution (1080p) it records up to 30 mins in 4gb sd card.

Quality is so good.. But because of this youtube upload the video quality is reduced.
