Watching this whole situation as a person who never got into tf2 is like never having been in a relationship and listening to your friend telling you about a bad breakup. Like i can sympathize, and it’s sad to see your friend losing something they so deeply care about, but i can’t relate.

even if this ends up another "valve says they are doing something, but not really" like last years, I think thats okay. Seeing the community come together and really achieve something is great, and a testament to our love for the game. Hopefully showing how big this has gotten will get their asses in gear, rather than Gabe Newell discussing it for like 2 seconds in a college panel.
What I love the most is the irony of the bot users. Its common knowledge (at least I think so) that bot users/makers do it as a sort of protest. They think they're a bunch of heroes, trying to get valve to do stuff by being toxic and ruining the game, or plainly just trying to ruin it for everyone because they stopped enjoying it. Instead what worked was actually getting together for a peaceful callout/protest with cooperation from the entire community in a wholesome and organized manner, and we actually got a response, with more in the future hopefully!
Imagine if this snowballs into something even greater. That would be awesome.

I love how the tf2 community is NOW at their breaking point after no major updates and not when they didn't get one for over 2 years. edit: and also everyone complaining about bots I mean they have to fix that can't just keep giving us crate updates

I like the detail of the berdsoldier constantly moving his legs and having fire underneath them just like in the game
I also love how he gave up on drawing the outline around the TF2Logo after 2 frames

I haven’t played TF2 in over a year, this makes me want to play it so bad. TF2 is truly a once in a lifetime sort of game, and there will never be another game that is even close to TF2, and it’s community.
