I can attest to how great this plant is...We were at a family picnic a few years ago and my great niece, Gia(who was a little todler at the time) got stung by a bee and was in total tears and panic...Well, I remembered that if you chew up the leaf of this plant, it was supposed to take the sting out...Well, it grows all over here in upstate New York so I quickly found some, chewed it into a paste and aplyed it....Everyone there was amazed how she almost immediately stopped crying...She said it stopped hurting....I kind of think I have been her hero ever since....She is a dear....

I foraged some plantain and dandelions yesterday and put them in the food processor for a minute and put it in my dogs raw meal. And today I had to chew some up and put it on my dog's eye because he got stung on the eye. The swelling went down. So this does really work. My phone must have heard me talking about it because this video popped up this evening. Funny how they're listening. Thanks for sharing with everyone!

My elderly kitty, Daisy Mae, loved to eat Plantain leaves when I brought her outside. She had arthritis and I believe it helped her pain. She was more active after she ate them.
She liked to eat her greens. She loved baby spinach, too.

I saved her some for over the winter and would put a squished up dried leaf in her food.

She lived to 19 years and two months old.
I lost her on June 23rd, 2022.

There was a young mother of 5, who got a nasty cancer in her foodpipe! Doctors had given up on her & send her home to die.
Somebody told her about the long panlain.
She ate every morning on empty stomach a handful.
Some time later when she felt fine again, she went to the doctor to check the cancer & the cancer was completely gone!!!

Poison Ivy RELIEF!! and it was FREE. Tecnu cream is like $50. I smashed broad leaf and spearmint leaves in a mortar and pestle and made a paste. Kept it on poison ivy with a bandaid. It actually felt a lil cool like icy hot. When it started to itch I'd put on a fresh batch (lasted like 6 hours) the paste kept the itch away and the poison ivy was gone in just a few days. Amazeballs!

I am older and on blood thinners(turmeric) for heart disease. I also have thin skin and if my pooch jumps up to greet me I may start bleeding if scratched. It does not want to stop until I chew up some plantain and put it on the scratch. Bleeding stops immediately and scabs over within an hour! Remarkable!!!

Almost . . you may 'discuss how to find and use', but Never Showed Plantain IN the Ground before pulling it up.
THAT's what i needed to see. Showing Leaf 'Threads' in stem was good info. thanks.

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO PICK ONLY LEAVES, so the plant can grow again. THANK YOU

As far as I can remember, I have been eating the wide leaf plantain since I was a child. My mom would cook it with pork and other meat as soup.
