Your video helped me solved a problem. Had one of the cables in the wrong slot and could only get either one to work using the button though not at same time.

After a quick adjustment success. Do remember watching your video a while back in preparation so was glad to find this video again after buying all my gear.

I am going to order these, is your NZXT USB hub easy to find or do you recommend another? I have to get one to make use I think of the strimmer plus v2 as both my motherboard ports are full already.

Your video was very helpful. I love my Strimer Plus, but my only beef is that the rainbow mode moves so slowly even at 100% speed.

I have ordered the nzxt internal usb2.0 hub in prep for my build... having looked at the reviews of previous models... have you had any issues with; the hub burning out/ burnout of internal usb2.0 header of motherboard/ or the motherboard burning out??? 😬😬

Second question; please clarify from previous comments... are you saying using the motherboard argb header, you will get more effects rather than going through the corsair commander/ "uni controller"?

If I've only bought the 3x8 pin cables (no controller included), where do I plug the small black cable into to control it? and can i still control it through the L-Connect 3 software without the controller?

Hiii great video! Question.. I have the 3x8 Strimer v2 gpu cable and 24pin strimer v1 cable Can I use them both on this controller and control both with my motherboard etc? Also why is this separate accessory available? Wouldn’t it be better for me just to get the v2 24pin cable that comes with the controller? What’s the difference between this accessory and the original v2 controller that comes with the 24pin v2?

Great Video! I Got the Strimer Plus v1 Cables. So i won't be able to do these Settings with L-Connect 3? Can i get the v2 Controller separately and would my system recognize the v1 cables with the v2 controller?
