Instead of reading all the comments, apple team, let me tell you in brief, what's happening, the feature 'Switch Profile' is not working at all. The real purpose to switch is not being fulfilled. It's as simple as that. Once you add a tab, the option to switch in the same window goes away and you have to open a new window. This is not efficient at all for day to day work.

I do not see "Switch <profile>". Only "New Window"? Also, it would have been good to have separate Start Pages per Profiles.

Why can't I switch profile without opening a separate new window? Can I not keep my tabs on one profile open and switch to another profile without having to have a completely new window?

Very odd that you can switch between two profiles in the same window with tabs on iOS and iPadOS but not on MacOS, where you cannot switch between two profiles in the same window if you have tabs. Apple says it’s to keep browsing history seperate but that makes no sense when iOS and iPadOS keep seperate histories while allowint profiling switching in a single window.

If anyone wants to know how to do Profile locking like Firefox Containers, you can’t in Iphone. Apple do the same thing with Firefox Containers and allow profiles to be swapped when visiting the website.

august 2024. and apple safary browser still cant delete bookmarks with right click like chrome. its annoying. shortcut to save site as a bookmark cmd-D but there is no shortcut to remove it. its so f annoying.

After installing macOS Sonoma, I wanted to add a Spotify widget. I did. BUT... it is useless, why? Why did you give the option to add widgets when they are useless?

After placing the Spotify widget I click on it, then it says I need to open an app on my iPhone... Is this a joke? 🤦🤷
