After taking a shower, Gloria went into her room. But what she saw there shocked her. Two robbers were rummaging through her stuff. She knew she couldn’t deal with them on her own. So, she came up with a brilliant idea – she pretended to be blind to trick the thieves. Gloria walked around the house with her arms in front of her. This calmed down the criminals as they thought she couldn’t see them.

While Gloria had gained some time to think, she needed to devise a plan to get rid of the robbers.

Unrealistic. One cannot move a muscle that close to a blind person in an otherwise quiet environment without being detected.

What NONESENSE is this! I know she pretended to be blind. But 1. blind people dont need to feel around with their hands in familiar surroundings like their own home 2. their hearing is excellent and propably she would sense the people even if they wouldnt move.

If she really had been blind her other senses would've been heightened - hearing AND her sense of smell when they waved their hands in front of her face. Unrealistic unless their trying to showcase stupid criminals! In which case they nailed it!

Pretend of be blind can save u but don't risk it.
And 4 unrealistic things in the video:
1. Mostly blind people has good hearing. But the thieves still whisper and make other movement sound when she is near.
2. 0:44, normal people will have some facial reaction / response (such as blink, dodge or eye movement). Unless she is good at playing no blink challenge.
3. 3:02, Face ID does not work on 2D image.
4. 1:17, Blind people most of the time use voice assistant to call someone. The thieves don't know how she call police/ pizza by clicking the phone screen?

Of course this is all not real, but if it were, as a blind person, if she were not deaf as well, her hearing would be SUPER sensitive, and she would have picked up every minute sound in the room.
Not only would she have known that they were there, but also exactly where in the room they were.
