Why would you want to change the modules out? I have Fatsharks with the TrueD and another pair with the La Forge and my commanders have the same or better range.

Now I know what to do with my commanders when they will start to bore me :) Well, I disassembled mine to to check for assembling glitches. Fortunately mine was second revision without them. By he way most useful addition to commanders would be independent focus adjusting for each eye and DVR possible to save PAL resolution frames with 16 kHz sound.

ive ripped flat cables before, cant you just cut the damage part off and scrape the traces with a razor blade, ive fixed many of my friends ps4 controllers this way just to get you out of a bind.

Do you think it is possible to replace the DVR with an external one using those two chips?
My goggle came with the DVR not working, and there is no support from Aomway whatsoever (here the extra bucks for a Fatshark pays off).
I have tried to replace the DVR firmware via SSD card and directly to the chip memory (soldering required), but it didn't work.
I have one Eachine PRO DVR and I was planning to solder this unit's video IN wire at the goggle's AV out/in jack until I saw this video.
The problem is not having a way to see the DVR screen, so I'm wondering if I can use the video IN chip you mentioned to connect the DVR video out cable, so at least I can switch to the external video input to see the DVR screen (maybe it will work with the AV out/in jack as well).

Fantastic work. Means Amoway users can use Clearview or LaForge modules if they so want.

I find the inbuilt diversity modules in the Aomway's are adequate for what I want and convenient with the inscreen display of the channel information.

Cool Video! I think about trying this out! Have you tried to add a little bit greater distance between the support structure and the part? Maybe you should make a test series and increase the distance until the surfaces don't connect anymore.
