Why do we have debates between science and religion?

In my last video I've tried to figure out who is right in science vs religion debates, but I found out, that there should be no debates between science and religion. So in this video I will try to figure out why do we have science vs religion debates in the first place?

You are partially true, the other side of the picture is, rationalism was the base of scientific revolution, so people started to apply rationality on God nd religion, which put many people to athiest circle. Second, Adam was the first human and he was sent to this world from heaven as a punishment, God created him himself, but science say something else about the evolution of man. Third, there are many scientific inventions which leave negative impact on certain religious beliefs i.e, few decades back, no one knew what the concieved lady has in her embryo and people replied, no one can know it except God..but now we do know it. There are many other examples where science has either altered the religious beliefs or paved the way to weakened the religious deeds i.e before scientific explanation of earthquake, people did believe it as a God's curse. Condom, contraceptive medicines and hymen repair technologies have raised adultery, which is very hard and core value in any orthodox society otherwise. So the fight of religion and science is not as simple as you explained.

Yes you are right. But you haven't seen and experience religion in other countries such as mine. In here, you are scrutinized for not having a religion. You look bad and evil and be judged by many. Once you have a religion you cannot question it or they will call you devil. And another thing, they teach children at a young age about religion and morality is based on the religion that you are joining. What is right and what is wrong. It became a so powerful that religion can control the outcome of politics. This is a growing problem.

Debates - on ANYTHING - are childish and unimportant and prove nothing.

I don't see anything wrong with science and religion. I think they are not in conflict with each other. I'm Catholic and I accept science in my life. In a religious sense, I view science as away of understanding God's Creation. I think that science isn't a replacement for God and religion entirely, but I think it helps understand God like I said. But I do think that they sometimes overlap. Both science and religion involve faith and confidence. Religious people have faith in God or gods "depending on their religion" and their scriptures and books. Scientists have faith in their work, data, findings and research in the lab. You can call that confidence, but that still has faith in it. I also think that there is nothing wrong with being a scientists and being religious or spiritual. They just need to leave their personal beliefs at home for their personal lives and not bring them in the lab where they work.

Why not debates between pedophiles versus those who oppose having sex with children?
Why not debates between flat earthers and round earthers?
These unimportant unnecessary "science vs religion" as so insanely unoriginal & unimportant and waste so much bandwidth.
