Searching Movie Review

In Aneesh Chaganty's feature directorial debut, Searching, John Cho plays David Kim. When his daughter Margot suddenly goes missing, David turns to the computer to try to track her down. He combs through Margot's call history, her e-mail, Facebook friends and more, and in the end, he comes to the realization that he didn't really know his daughter as well as he thought. "interactive puzzle" that is so true! I was sitting there watching it with a friend and i just kept asking "wait, what about this, and if that's the case, then why did she this" it was just amazing following the mystery and seeing it unfold.

I have a USB with over 200 movies and I watch it in my car bc I have a after market radio 10.1 inch screen in my car. So I generally pic a movie and drive and have a movie playing that I have not seen while I'm on my way to work and I chose SEARCHING one morning and watched like 3 days of driving to work. But after the intensity of finding his daughter I had to take my USB movie stick and watch it at home!! And it was a great watch of what unfolds towards the end!!! Totally recommend 👌👍💯

John Cho has definitely come a long way from the "American Pie" movies. He is so convincing and great in this role as a father looking for his missing daughter. Love this movie!

Excellent review! I was intrigued by the "screen life" technique (genre?) and its potential since seeing the first "Unfriended" movie. It looks like this has brought it up another notch. Oh, and I agree with "wholetruthy" - this is Dewey's channel!

I actually was able to see this movie this past Thursday. I really enjoyed the movie. I enjoyed the format that it was filmed in and felt very invested in the movie. I can see way it got a lot of buzz at Sundance. I enjoy movies that do something unique to a simple movie genre theme.

I just watched it and I thought it was fantastic! I kinda figured out 80% of who done it but the wrap up and how it got there took it to another level. I feel like people will either love or hate it due to the pacing of the film because I heard some leaving the theater that it was boring and annoying smh. Not me though. Awesome review as always
