The cover on mine was really really hard to take out even using the tools as shown in vid. I bend and damaged the triangular tool. No way it was that easy like in the video. In the process broke and cracked the surrounding bezel around the display. After the cover was off, everything was straightforward as in the vid

This helped me a lot, thanks for uploading. The adhesive was a pain in the dick though. It ripped and I had to cut it away from between the battery and the screen.

Thanks, i don't know it is that easy to swap the battery. My battery is still working fine for my 3 years old Mi A1, so i hope i will find a exchange battery when the day will come when i need it.
