At beach front, multiple smaller dismounted TOW missile launchers on pully carts hidden under cover might be more practical than driving on a couple of full size HUMVEEs during a landing invasion.

The United States of America needs a new federal department called the peace department.

Might be an interesting new vehicle for War Thunder, but TOW IIB is obsolete compared to HJ-10.

If you want to get a preview of what would happen to a war between China and Taiwan, there is one already happening right one, but different with participants... Russia and Ukraine.

One interesting aspect of the Ukraine war is that the US, which is a constant factor in many of the wars happened to date, is not using own troops to fight for democracy and freedom. It lets Ukrainians to fight for them. Now is the US going to deploy US troops to fight along side Taiwan? The answer can be found in my previous sentence.

Russia is a formidable fighting force. Ukraine by itself would not stand a chance. However, with the entire NATO plus some other "interested parties" like Australia, Ukraine does give Russia some semblance of a fight. Now is Russia comparable to Russia in terms of military strength and economic power? You be the judge. Personally, I think Russia would come second to China.

So the answers are already there. If Taiwan fancies its chances, thinking that Uncle Sam would rush is to pour troops some 11, 000 KM away to help Taiwan, think again. Of course the US would want to give the impression that it would protect Taiwan at any cost. Now what do Taiwanese think about such generous offer? Would they be prepared to live in a waste land like Ukraine is in now? Mind you. the US is, as always, stayed out of trouble. It would prefer wars and the subsequent destruction occur on someone's country.

That target is way too big and way too close. This was just for the cameras, no real training going on here.

Those Humvees will be destroyed by drones the moment they drive up to the beach 😂. Still training like it's 1980's.

They are using old US conventional weapons. When China comes, they will bring much more powerful, more advance weapons.

How many tens or hundreds of millions of drones per year will the CCP be able to produce?
How would Taiwan defend against this number of drones year after year?
