Pilaf is a bit of a flipped script. He's the most harmless villain Goku had, but TFS Goku makes him be remembered by Goku as the most threatening.

He didnt fight like every other villain, so he wasnt fun. Goku hates things that arent fun. Pilaf was the most un-fun villain TFS Goku had to deal with.

Something funny I just realized, is that according to TFS, Pilaf is Goku’s image of pure evil because he’s the first one to never really “redeem” himself.

But when you think about it, everyone Goku has “redeemed” end up being someone he can fight and train with. So despite TFS Pilaf actually changing for the better and wanting to stay out of Goku’s life and avoid being evil, because he doesn’t want to train with Goku, combat loving Goku believes Pilaf is still evil.

I wonder if by that logic he still thinks of Jackie Chun like this invincible warrior that nobody can beat ever?

"The monster pilaf" line by itself is funny on it's own. Seeing it extended is good stuff sure but it would be best for another movie/special where they are more involved with the plot *cough cough Battle of Gods cough cough*
