She’s right, parties are more performative if anything, it’s more about displaying a “fun” attitude by looking extroverted and social but the environment itself is pretty basic. The music usually is the same handful of songs and unless your naturally loud person then a lot of people assume your being stuck up. Which makes it feel more draining, the problem is it’s not considered socially acceptable at a lot of parties to have a relaxed demeanor without somebody calling you boring or stand-offish.

As a gamer who drinks and can party w/others gamers I know we get together and party and have fun. Not that shallow clubbing party which should stay at the clubs hence a party has everyone in mind... But what do I know...

I’ve head some Amazingly great times at parties i crashed a party at a frat house at UC Berkeley .. I was in college in another state .. and ended up having a blast meet a couple cool people who I hung out with that whole summer break

I gotta STRONGLY disagree with this one. Now..i am OLD. ok? Like...56 old. But i ... spent the 90s breaking the law and getting extremely twisted. Lots and LOTS of parties. Both throwing them and attending. I also played in a...i mean...locally liked...band, and often we played. I dont know...maybe im wrong..but i had an absolute blast. (PS the reason im even here is cause i still love music...all music..and just heard of Remi Wolf...and...shes amazing for sure.)
