The all new Parkside Performance PPBSA 20-Li A1 looks amazingly powerful. Lets compare it to the machine it most likely is copying - the 150Nm Bosch GSR 150C.

The difference between a private user and a professional. For home use the Parkside equipment is really pretty good quality for the price. I had a Parkside cable saber saw. I did a lot of work with it and used it for tasks it was not really designed for. broke the reciprocating bar where the blade goes while cutting wide bits of tree logs. I wrote to Parkside and asked for that part willing to pay they said when did you buy it? We told them when and where. They never even asked to see the receipt. We just sent pictures of the broken part. They sent from Germany a brand new saber saw at no cost it took about four days to arrive. Now that is great customer service. I really can't fault their stuff for the price. I just recently bought one of these drills and I think it will do for what I need it for. It is really like the difference between a Tiger and a house cat. Tigers don't usually hunt mice. House cats don't usually hunt deer. But both are cats. :)

Very professional review. For me the winner is the Parkside, you can buy almost 3 with the price of the Bosch.
And if you don't put it to the absurd dead limit of your hard test it's practically the same.

For real now, both machines are incredibly powerful! Things have changed over the last few dozens of years! The Parkside is amazing, too much powah for home use! :)))) Great review, thank you!

Nice testing, I have the bosch and on the long term is the winner. Much more robust and heavy duty. Yes the case on the bosch and other professionals tools are made from glass fiber reinforced polyamide, compared to the parkside. It is more expensive to manufacture. I have an older parkside impact driver and after one year of use, the case is cracked in the trigger area, and one day it will break. Actually in Romania the Bluetooth connection module is easy to find. I purchased two modules last year and in three days was delivered. The GCY 42 module is manufactured in Poland, at least mine. And some of the batteries are manufactured in Hungary. I personally use bosch tools on both 12v and 18v platforms. My oldest drill is from 2001 on the 14.4V battery and was made in Switzerland. But the battery packs are dead ni-cd, only working for 2 minutes. But the drill is functioning well, the brushes are in good condition, It was very well made. Bosch for me. 👍👍👍

Today I ordered the parkside for only €69 euro’s extra battery. An absolute bargain!

In Holland the Parkside is now 39, 99!! Felt 100EUR was a bit to expensive for a Parkside but now with it's pricing of 39, 99 I bought it immediately. Allthough some drawbacks compared to expensive models I still fell like this is really good value for money including 5 years warranty.

I'd probably take the Parkside unless i was doing some serious drilling. I could buy 3 Parksides for the price of 1 Bosch

It is interesting to compare the two after one year of daily use in a workshop..:) When brand new - a lot of things are doing fine..

Before this comparation you should talk about price difference ! Parkside it costs way less even half of the bosh ! They even should not be compared to each other!

Despite being a hobbyist, Milwaukee is worth it. I live in the United States which gives Milwaukee a very solid reputation for quality tools for professional tradespeople and discerning DIYers. Blue Bosch is very good too.

I'll wait for the second iteration of the parkside. A2 or B2, I don't know whatever the name will be. The problem of the parkside board looks identical to the b2 version of the impact driver they had. I am pretty sure that the second edition of this drill will not cut off operation. And the torque will be closer to the alleged one of 150nm. As for the screw inside the chuck, if you feel uneasy than just change it to allen one.

Yeah Bosh clear winner. That temperature diference is massive if you want to do big heavy and constant work.
But at 1/3rd of the price Parkside is very capable and has a place on many jobs. Lets wait for B1 version tough :p

Most of my power tools are Parkside and I've never had a single issue with any of them, I've owned makitas, dewalts and bosch power tools and all of my Parkside tools have out lived them and out preformed them by a long shot.

If I was drilling a deep hole, I'd back it off periodically to make sure the sawdust escapes. You don't want to heat your bit more than necessary.

Parkside isnt terrible for what you pay and if its just for occasional use - what id like to know though is what would make someone buy Bosch tools? i know Bosch are a decent brand but their pricepoint is akin to Dewalt/Makita why would you buy Bosch over either Dewalt or Makita?

Bosch every time. Had some green Parkside tools and they go bad very quickly. Especially the trigger switch lives it's own life after a short time. When you hold it in your hand you feel that the parts don't fit as good as in the Bosch units. The rubber is cheap, the mold is sharp and misaligned. I know it's 2-3 times cheaper but when I buy the blue Bosch I buy it for many years.
