Excellent tutorial. I paint pictures using acrylic paint. I had problems creating a marble table in the picture I'm working on. This tutorial did the job.  Thank you!!

Thank you so much for sharing.  I wish I had found this video a few months ago when I was looking how to marble a set piece for my daughters play group.  I would of totally used your technique instead of what I ended up doing.    Next time I'm doing it like this.  Keep sharing!  Thank you!  :)

It's very effective. It'll come back into fashion and only a select few will be able to do it.

The little brush he used at the end was a coach lining brush, just in case anyone wondered I hate it when people don't use the proper names for tools, it's as if they are trying to hide something so you need to sign up for their daft course.

Great video. But
I’m sure it’s three steps. The surface of must be painted or tinted primer. Am I correct or you can just faux as is?

Usually I use dulux water based satin or rapidy paints... is it ok? Or are you using oil based paints?

Oh! hang-on, I think I've got a swan feather in my back pocket!  Does anyone know of a swan feather shop?  I'll probably use chicken . . . .
