The University of Florida Division of Cardiology in Jacksonville offers a three-year, ACGME-accredited fellowship in cardiovascular disease which provides fellows with multiple tiers for clinical and academic support.
In addition to our general cardiology training program, we have two robust subspecialty cardiology training programs in Interventional Cardiology and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology. Furthermore, fellows gain exposure to the hospital's Structural Heart and Valvular Disease Program, Peripheral Arterial Disease Program, and a unique Women's Cardiovascular Program, directed by Gladys Velarde, MD.
