But this movie, this was the first movie to genuinely creep me out...Even at 20, this movie never fails to get under my skin no matter how many times I watch it. One of the greatest Slasher movies of all time it's a masterpiece! This movie honestly didn't need remakes it's suspenseful creepy and gives you the chills and if this comment doesn't make your skin crawl then it's on TOO TIGHT!

First time I watched this film was on my first night in a holiday house in the Bavarian Alps where I was staying with my dad. Heard a weird bump in the night after I finished, but thought it was my father. The next morning he asked whether I dropped anything during the night because he heard a weird sound at like one in the morning.
I... I must confess, it was hard to sleep after that.

The end of this movie when it is just quiet and then you hear a phone ringing. The silhouette of the murdered girl, in the rocking chair at the window Such a creepy movie. 'Silent Night' used to be a carol, I sang in church now I always think of this movie when I hear it.
