Turkish Delight = Hand Soap. No way! I love those little bright purple packets of deliciousness.

I'd put a cherry ripe ahead of anything with caramel in it. I'm with you on malteasers though.

I really like Turkish Delight and bounty bars, along with cherry ripes.

I've always thought of Mars bars as being a little overly sweet for my taste. I prefer a Picnic any day.

US FDA rules require less % of quality cocoa butter for a product to be called chocolate in the US compared to Australia UK and Europe. That explains the coarse texture and weak flavour of hershey’s compared to our chocolate.

Excellent….. please send all your Turkish Delights to me! To be fair it is a polarising flavour, either loved or despised. I love it and am not ashamed!

What are the differences you find between Australian and American chocolate? I’d love to know, because tbh American chocolate is repulsive to me 😂

My favourite is the cherry ripe, lol. Everyone has different tastes.

All of them are 7+ for me. Only something with licorice in it would get less.. like a 5.

Sorry for the Picnic/Bounty/Cherry Ripe slander in this video guys haha! What can I say, it's hard to like them when you don't like peanuts or coconut! lol not sure if I can apologise for the Turkish Delight opinions though ;)

I mostly eat Lindt 85% cocoa blocks these days, as I can't tolerate too much sugar, but Cherry Ripe was my favourite when I was younger. Can't believe you both gave it a 1 😅

Enjoyed this, especially the facial expressions. Priceless. Yes, we call Twirls user-friendly Flakes. Why choose so many caramel chocs, what about Marvellous Creations, Rocky Road, Kit-Kats, Nougat Honey Log, Aero, Mint Pattie? I also hate Turkish Delight, Bounty and Cherry Ripe; totally on the negative end of the scale for me.

My favourite is probably violet crumble. Flake is pretty good too. Also like Darrell lea marvelous creations. And the Lindt balls(any flavour lol). I can't stand those Turkish delight bars either. If you hate those, you'll also hate musk sticks lol🤢. (Another Aussie kids classic).
Cherry ripe is overrated for me too.

I like it when people are honest. If you don't like something why pretend.. we are all raised on different types of tastes and foods. Personally picnic are one of my favourites but I respect your honesty. When I was a little boy in the 70s my dad would take us to Surfers Paradise fire station where he worked as a firefighter. They had a canteen with pies sausage rolls chocolates cold soft drinks (sodas) and ice creams. Dad would buy us a Fry's Turkish delight bar. It became one of my favourite treats because my dad would buy us one. We weren't rich so it was a rare treat. Later on in the late 80s dad got a promotion to a division commander and we moved into a fire station where I I'd spend large amounts of my paycheck as an apprentice on marsbars Coke's and meat pies at a different canteen

Every member of my family (except my husband) loves Turkish Delight. Seriously, I have seen so many Americans say that they don’t like the texture of coconut so Cherry Ripe and Bounty Bars are dissed quite often, but I had a pre-natal addiction to having a Cherry Ripe at hand for a bite every hour or so, which was better than the first time round when I only ate hot hard boiled eggs for months 😂😂😂

Hey thanks for checking out this video! Don't take the ratings too serious, Australian chocolate is amazing and we love it.

Drop a comment with your favorite Chocolate or what we might have rated wrong in your opinion!

I know what you mean about not liking peanuts but liking the flavour. I don't like strawberries but love strawberry flavoured stuff.
