His (great?) grandfather was beloved by the people. They put all their faith in him because they agreed with his ideals. It matters not how great a leader is, unchecked totalitarian power always goes sideways and especially if it stays in one family. There's a real limit to how much any human can be trusted. The people of N.Korea are abused & oppressed for generations with nothing the world can do to help them.
