For someone who has enjoyed the Scottish Hills, I have been to Mull several times, enjoyed it's hospitality and have never climbed Ben More. I have however competed in the 1978 and 1979 Tour of Mull motor rallies. Awesome event and a very special place in my heart.

Hi James, been following your videos, so close to completing! What an incredible journey its been and glad to have shared part of it with you.
This video is special for me as it will be my last Munro next year, I've just hit 240 and on track to complete next year. Its a shame you didn't get a view from the summit, it does seem to be rare for that summit to be clear. I seen Charlie Mccartney said he has summitted it 6 times and never had a view! Best of luck with the final munros.

Hi James,
Another terrific film, what a shame about the weather, you normally pick sunny days.
I think your photography is absolutely brilliant and your commentary perfect.
I live in South Wales and watching your films has inspired me to climb Munros.
Only two so far, Ben Nevis and Ben Cruachan which I did a few months ago so am really looking forward to your next trip!
Good luck with the weather on that one!!

An epic travel and great footage as always. Only 15 to go. Enjoy them as they come, but remember going on them for the second time I found was more rewarding with less pressure. So savour the moments. I was leaving this Munro till last, but found it hard to get people to commit due to travel and cost. Anyhow just before I completed another 7 Munro’s were added making it 284 then. So climbed Stob Coire Screamhach and celebrated in the Clachaig Inn at Glencoe. Look forward to your next outing.

This was my first munro 3 years ago now. Still only on the 4 I managed that week. Not been to Scotland since but plenty of lakeland trips to make up for it.

Climbed this one in January this year. Nice sunny day as well and thankfully top stayed clear for the views. Great video and drone footage.

Excellent! Now you have a ”typical” day of Scottish mountaineering, rather then the tourist board videos you normally produce! Unlucky on the weather but great excuse to visit mull again another day

Such a shame you didn't get a view! Like so many island peaks the summit views are stunning. Also the corrie to the left of the summit is fabulous. I hope you have a chance to go again!

As you say you were probably due this weather. You could have enhanced your day by continuing westwards along the road. The cliffs you see in the background of your final talk are utterly spectacular. Not to be missed next time you do Ben More.

Another great video James.
It's a shame that the weather changed at the top with the clag in, but that's Scotland for you.
Look forward to the next one.

Went up at the end of March and got great weather at the start, howling winds and snow nearer the top, had an airbnb in Tobermory for a few days so managed a drive round the island, well worth it, cheers

Stunning island, been there numerous times, 7 times one year, all the way from Cheshire.
I always intended to climb Ben More but this is one that got away. ☹️

Another lovely video James. I wouldn't be too worried about the views, as this summer has been simply awful, even by Scottish standards. I managed to have a great day up Beinn a Ghlo yesterday, but the paths further up the corries were very boggy, and the wind was cold and strong on the tops...I had to keep reminding myself it was August!

Lovely journey, you cannae beat a CalMac....or 2. I think I climbed that mountain for the first time 35yrs ago. Never had a view at the top but always enjoyed the outing. Best wishes, it's great following your journey.

Lovely James. The exact same happened to me. It was clear at the bottom and then overcast with no views at the top then clear at the bottom again. As you said it’s a long way to go for one Munro. Good luck with the remaining few 👍🏻

Great film James, very generous 8/10, I feared Ben More was due a scathing 5!

Hi James, yes you certainly have had a great run….I’ve travelled up to do Ben Hope 3 times from Dunoon and never once had a view! But I get it it wouldn’t be great to put out videos with no views. Good luck with your last Munros. ATP Jim.👍

Pity that you didn't get the views James, I did Ben More (Mull) in 2019 and the views were luckily spectacular.

James we had exactly the same happen to us on the weekend of the Kings Coronation. The day before was spectacular we just got it wrong. I'm heading back at the start of September and fingers crossed I'll get the views this time.🤞G♥🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
